My Homebrew ‘Triple’ is ready

Homebrew Triple from BrewfermI’m not entirely sure this turned out right as it’s much darker than the gold colour it’s supposed to be, but it’s very nice with a fruity flavour and is probably getting on for the rated 8%.

Perhaps I shouldn’t have poured a whole pint of it.

Anyway, it’s from Brewferm and makes 9 litres for around £12 which works out at an incredible 75p a pint (probably closer to £1 once you’ve added the other ingredients – sugar and water). I used sparkling water (instead of the suggested boiled and cooled tap water) against the advice of a few homebrew forums so I’ll give still water a try next time.
