I’m not entirely sure this turned out right as it’s much darker than the gold colour it’s supposed to be, but it’s very nice with a fruity flavour and is probably getting on for the rated 8%.
Perhaps I shouldn’t have poured a whole pint of it.
Anyway, it’s from Brewferm and makes 9 litres for around £12 which works out at an incredible 75p a pint (probably closer to £1 once you’ve added the other ingredients – sugar and water). I used sparkling water (instead of the suggested boiled and cooled tap water) against the advice of a few homebrew forums so I’ll give still water a try next time.
