My stock control system is almost complete.
Me and Wifey can now use our mobiles to scan the barcodes on everything in the house to update it. So when I finish a can of beer I can scan it to reduce the quantity in stock by one. Next step is to email an alert when I'm runinng low.

Well I typed a very long version of this post earlier, but Drupal decided not to save it (thanks, Drupal), so this is the short version.
Basically, Hootsuite for iPhone displays 'No messages' in the Facebook timeline if you have the clock on the iPhone set to 12 hours rather than 24.
I have posted back on http://help.hootsuite.com/entries/493705-hootsuite-for-iphone-does-not-work where I originally found some others with the same problem so hopefully this will help others.

Abi has just signed up to become a Phoenix Independant Trader. She is now taking orders for Christmas, Birthday, Easter and other cards as well as gift wrap, tags, children's height and reward charts.
Prices are considerably less than the high street and she can deliver or arrange for postage for a small fee.
Here's the link to her new site: http://www.cardsforeveryday.co.uk/

We discovered a gammon joint lurking in the freezer so we roasted it, and basted with a mixture of 3 parts Dijon mustard to 4 parts honey.

Some of the basics items we have tried recently we didn't really like so wouldn't buy them again:
Bacon
Fromage frais
Toilet roll
The good products at least out weigh the bad products so we'll keep trying them.

We've been trying to cut back on our food shopping bill and so have been trying lots and lots of the basics products from Sainsbury's
I'd recommend the following:
White chocolate bars
Dark chocolate bars
Chocolate mousse
Creme caramel
Yoghurts (but not fromage frais)
Muesli

At the moment, like many families, we're struggling to eat well with what's left over after paying the mortgage and all the other bills.
The obvious thing to cut out is extravagant food so we've been buying basics products from the supermarkets and eating cheaper meals. Over the next few weeks we'll be reviewing where it's worth saving money and buying basics, and where the saving just isn't worth the loss in quality. The first one that springs to mind is toilet roll - basics bog roll just isn't worth it.
Cheaper recipes which are excellent are:
Sausage and Lentil Casserole
